Default would 07 sti Heads fit on 05 Sti

I bought 07 Sti heads for my 05 Sti, dealership is saying those heads I bought are not right for my car, is that right? I found out that I need air pump delete kit for those to work with my car. Would that mod throw any engine light, someone said it should not because my sti does not have a air pump. Any explanations is greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.
