05 sti wireing diagram needed to hook up spiider deluxe controller
well after much debate i will be ordering my dccd spiider deluxe controller from spider. its really self explanitory until i get to the wireing for the stock sti cluster and link them to the deluxe controller.
emailed spiider and they said i will have to play with a multimeter to get the connections. i really dont like stabing at any kind of wire, and maybe someone here already knows. if you do please inform me as i will be installing this thing the minute it gets here. thanks in advance car is 2005 sti. installed a 07 complet tranny swap with diff

Let me get this straight...you replaced the tranny and diff, so you are replacing the diff controller as well? Is that really necessary?
All you have to do is disconnect the wires from the stock controller, and hook the appropriate wires from the Spiider controller. The schematic posted above should tell you what you need to know. |

I have the 04 and 06 Cluster wiring diagrams, all that needs to be done is connect the wires to the control module for most clusters. What I mean by testing with a multimeter is for you to verify that you aren't hooking up things incorrectly before you hook them up. I tend to be a bit prudent in this area.
What you do is connect the dimmer power to the cluster and then just ground the wire for each light (through the meter) to verify they light up in the order you expect and when you expect them. |

I'm just wondering why you can't re-use the OEM controller. I know the torque splits are different... |
