p0017 p0019
long story short, just finished my short block swap, car idles like ****. FINALLY gave me some codes to work with. p0017 and p0019. fsm asks me "Is the value of «Exh. VVT Retard Ang. L» approx. 0 deg, and the value of «Exh. OCV Duty L» approx. 10%?" I dont think the accessport can check that. any advice?

Really would help if you'd fill out your profile so we knew the car this for.
What's the history of the previous engine? ringland bearing? Were the AVCS gears rebuilt? Could be wiring, solenoid, lock out pin inside gear is stuck, oil pressure to solenoid. I've never datalogged with an AP but I can see cam angle advancement with my tactrix cord. |

2013 STi 5 Door killerB EL header & up pipe 3" invidia turboback (catless) Perrin inlet COBB sf w/box Lost ringlands on #4 on my stock block @ 8300 miles. AVCS gears were not opened up. Do you have any further details on cam gear servicing? I suppose I figured it was a sealed unit. |

I know this post is super old but did you figure out the issue? I am having a very similar issue with a new rebuilt motor. Thanks
