this may be a stupid question but it is for the cobb guys specifically. that said i dont actually know if it ever did have a ap im having an issue thats similar to what people describe as valet mode cobb the ap being removed without unmarrying. know i guess my question is,is there anyway to tell if it is in valet mode because of cobb ap not the cars valet mode, because i hit a rpm wall at 5000rpm with no load in neutral after warm-up and it sorta pops but definitely stops reving at 5000rpm. it was worse it wouldnt rev passed 4500rpm before i changed the coils and plugs and did some wiring (cam sensor) and alot of gaskets except the downpipe gasket i was going to make one now ill just buy one,but i see tons of cars with exhaust straight off the exhaust housing on the turbo. so my thinking was thats not the issue. i did find some loose charge piping clamps and tightened them. however that did nothing.

Without seeing the map its hard to say if its a valet map or not. It could very well have a valet map or there could be a mechanical or tune related issue. Have you tried to pull the current map off of the vehicle using a tactrix cable? If its still married to a cobb ap it will not allow you to pull the map.

Default Unstable AFRs

During light load, my AFR waves up and down quite badly, AF Correction also spikes +10ish to -10ish like a square wave

This only happens sometimes

Could be caused by injector or MAF scaling being off which can lead to an oscillation in AF correction like that.
