search for the part number and get it from subaruparts.com or goto the dealer and overpay for it if you want it quicker.

Exactly so! I got my STI 2.5" muffler from SPD after returning my Stromung which rattled evering that was or wasn't screwed down. I had a custom 2.25" midpipe made up at a local shop. Flows very good, and sound is somewhat louder than stock but I have had nothing but positive comments.

No, the STI muffler is 2.25" ID on the inlet. The tip is 3.5". I told Mike Shields about this, but I don't know if he remembers.

HUH! Well it works well at any rate. I was concerned when he told me it was 2.5", but bought it on his recommendation.
