Default STi AC lines in my 02 WRX

My AC lines are sweating green dye so I'd say they're done-zo

Just in case I happen to get an STi intercooler I figure I may as well replace the old lines in my 02 WRX with STi lines. If I use the lines from a GD STi am I going to have any fitment issues? I don't think I will but I thought I'd ask before I proceed to checkout lol

I haven't done this yet, but have the parts waiting. I think the hose on the firewall is the only different part, but it mounts to the same locations as the 2.0l WRX.

Yeah that's what I was expecting honestly. I haven't received the parts quite yet but I'll post back any issues I run into.

I have the STI line in my 04 WRX right now. Will work just fine as the STI one is identical save it has rubber piece allowing a bit more flex back to the firewall. I did it after I holed my line due to STI intercooler use.

Good to hear. Like I mentioned in the first post it didn't seem like I would but I don't want to run into any unforeseen issues. They're going in Monday or Tuesday so hopefully my AC works again by Wednesday.
I'm not looking forward to replacing the expansion valve but luckily there's some good write-ups on the best way to go about that lol

06-07 STi AC lines into an 02 WRX, the actual line that is different than the WRX line on this model and goes to the firewall... the rubber portion is really tight to the washer reservoir. I neatly sliced the foam sheath off of my old line and put it around the new line so it doesn't rub directly on each other and also gently bent it just a tiny bit which gave it about a 1/8 of an inch or so of clearance.

Alternatively I wonder if you can use the washer reservoir from any 06-07 Impreza in an 02 Impreza.
