I have no idea if it's cracked or not because its on the car. I guess I can use a borescope when I change the oil next time.

Do you have a cracked baffle? If so, reach out to us.

I haven't seen it yet (or I keep missing it); What is the height difference between this and the OEM EJ Pans? Does it hang below any of the bottom bits when installed (in my case, an 06)?

Our performance pan is ~7/16" taller. I say about, because the depth tolerance on Subaru pans is generally +/-.125, plus the GD and RV/VA pans are slightly different.

For your GD (and I'm relying on my not so great memory) I believe one of the OEM belly pan reinforcement ribs needs to be trimmed. It's a quick cut with a utility knife. I have seen some run without doing this, it will rub under some conditions, but I've never seen it cause any damage. I recommend trimming to provide 1/4-1/2" of clearance.

Thank you, so I can still utilize my plastic undertray/ belly pan then. That is good to know. I was initially concerned it may be hanging too low and potentially scrape; Im lowered by around 0.5"-1.0", if that much.

Correct!

Also, to give you some additional feels, our pan is extremely tough. It's put through two heat treat processes, and dare I say it's the strongest pan out there. In fact, it's VERY popular in off-road rally because of this. One car (El Diablo Rally Team; check them out on FB for the post) had an off into a boulder field a couple years ago, and the skid plat hit so hard it tore the engine from the motor mounts. It left a terrific imprint. They still use that pan today

As the race season is upon us, does anyone have oiling questions? Or on our new Super-G Extreme Competition pan?

Oil Control Valve? Track PCV management? Oil pump sizes? Pickups, baffles, oil level, etc...

We're here for any and all questions you may have

Fun vid of the Super-G showing its sealed center baffle with one-way valves...

PSA for those not on our mailer. We're having a 20% off Black Friday sale on all oiling products.
