I so appreciate this thread, and everyone's contributions.

I want to feel the morning after a truly good, deep, healthy night of sleep. I haven't had one since 2014. I've been using OTC sleeping pills just to get halfway not horrible sleep. Without them I'll be up most of the night. Chronic, grade-A insomnia is truly horrible. I just want to truly....rest.

I had one incredible meditation experience that proved to me what was possible. That resulted in my last good night of sleep in 2014 (and it was...bliss). Haven't been able to replicate it since. I've tried. Failed. Given up. Tried again months later for a while. Failed. Given up. Repeat.

Good luck to all of you. I read every post. I'm impressed. OT has come a long ways.

I'd love to feel the absolute unbridled unrepentant joy of getting my first NES in 1986 with all the innocence and ignorance that came with it. I'm pretty sure that isn't possible anymore with anything.

On a more serious note I'm curious about all the drugs that people are willing to destroy their lives and everyone around them for another high. I know I don't have too much willpower so I'm pretty sure if I even had a single taste of any of them I'd ruin my life in short order.
