I'm definitely curious to hear more about the 2.35 and the G30. What do you have done for the internals/heads?

I’d like to know more about your spoolinator kit with this turbo . I really want to stay in the stock location and not go rotated . My motor is currently at CSS , going closed deck .

What exactly are you looking for besides the basic information you can find from Garrett, ATP-turbo and or Full-Race?

looking for numbers, spool time on the street. I primarily do autocross and trackcross, initially i was leaning towards a 3071 gen 2, but i'm considering these too. ideally id like something that can hit in the area of 450-500whp/tq with the fastest spool possible (on e85) . i understand there are limitations but it seems hard to find what these are actually doing minus the speculation. ive found very limited info on them. and only like one guy running them.

Yea that's Ibrahim's car, super cool dude. The G30-770 just wasn't reaching his power goals lol. He's since upgraded to a G30-900.
Here's another video of inside the car, you can see it's takes off around 3900 rpms and pull to redline. I would like to that turbo on E85 Another video of them on GR STi |

I am currently in the process of building my motor and will be using the G30-900. I will share the results once I have them. Car is currently at Surgeline in Portland.
Build details: IAG-#700 longblock IAG TGV deletes Cobb fuel rails 1300 injectors Fuel Lab Fuel Pressure Regulator AEM 320 In Tank Fuel Pump (may also be doing a Radium Engineering MPFST Dual Walbro 460 in Surge Tank pumps) Cobb FMIC Killer B oil Pickup Killer B Holy EL Header/up-pipe Group N engine mounts Cobb AOS G30-900 Turbo Custom downpipe and dumptube This will be a street car so chose not to go to the G35 for now in hopes I would get a bit quicker spool on the G30. I can always go bigger if I get bored |

i'm excited to see that build^^
ive been searching hard and trying to decide if i should go with a g30-660 or 770......i really hope more people start posting them here in depth. i'd like to see how they spool, would be especially cool if there was a spool comparison to the gtx gen2 counterparts. |

What's your end goal with the car? I literally was torn between those two but ended going with the G30-770.

I'm really curious where these all hit full boost in 3rd gear. Full boost at around 4000 was something I got used to pretty quickly, but I'd hate to have the powerband get any narrower.

dang, for 300rpm i'd just go with the 770 lol. it is a trackcross/autocross car now, and i'll likely end up moving into road courses as my budget allows, but it will still be a street car, even if it only sees the street like 10x per year lol

The main thing to keep in mind is that with stock heads power WILL drop off after 6500rpm so you really need to maximize what you produce in the lower range to make the most out of the set-up. IMO |

and i do understand that power will start to fall at 6500. i will likely have to just stick with that for now and shift around 6500 to stay into the powerband. eventually i would like to build the heads. havent done too much research into that at the moment. i may run 272 cams but i'm not sure if that would be the right choice as i know it would help mid range and a bit into the upper end, but id lose some down low. but that's a whole different subject. |
