If I were you, I'd drill the holes in the front plate, screw them on and call it a day. You just have to be careful when you drill into metal.

fuji - love the 5-spoke old-school look, and the flaps look great. I miss my mud flaps on my old RS. I need to make some new ones for the LGT. It totally keeps the road grime off of the car.

No, don't drill, please. If you can find the right screws for the front license plate, they will self drill through the front bumper skin and find the pre-drilled and tapped threads in the metal bumper beam behind the skin. If you look carefully, you should see some little dimples in the skin that match up with your license plate. I watched my salesman do it on both my new Imprezas.

I recently took my car in for a oil change and i took off the plastic frame that richmond subaru had on before. Afterwards i found out that they put a new pair back on! PLUS THEY WARPED THE HOLES THAT THEY HAD ON THERE BEFORE!!! now my plate is quite loose unless i screw it in really tight

DUDEEEE... the holes for the license plate are there right now. Look at it closely, there will be indents on the two spots where screws should go... All you do it use a self tapping screw and push with some force and it will work.

sorry i brought this whole front bumper hole thing up in this thread

all i wannar say is i drilled 3 holes today, not on my bumper, on the LP. the reason of 3 is that the first two does not quite fit with those on the bumper

will post pic later.

But i just told you.... there are hole existing that you have to press through. Now you drilled holes in your LP and could be fined when you hand them in because they are property of ICBC...

pleassssee... no one is going to fine him for drilling a pair of holes.. i have my front one bent to **** and did as well with my old set, no one said anything, thats including several officers..

can someone please rename this thread to "license plate hole discussion"

EDIT: cause i dont want to make another plate post.. but 007wrx, i know what your talking about with those divots in the bumper, but most likely if they were there, he'd be able to put two and two together

Default Photographer wanting a wrx for photo shoot

Im a photographer from Quebec new to Vancouver. Im building my photography portfolio and I want some subaru shots.
Im looking to take two different types of pictures. One with flash at night, perhaps overlooking the vancouver skyline. And if any of you are more daring Im looking for a picture of a subaru doing a fishtail in a curve on a dirt road.
I would give you the pictures for free.
Contact me if your interested [email protected]
cheers,
Jérémie
