Decided to opt for a brushless Walbro/TI Auto pump (BKS1001) in a Radium 1.5L surge tank instead of the 525 or 450 I had originally planned to use in the front tank. This is aiding the 255 in the rear tank.

The kit comes with a standalone controller.

Brushless pumps are more tunable overall, so my ej20 setup shouldn't have a problem with this pump while daily driving at low load. And this one can support ~720bhp on E85 and over 1000 on pump gas - so it should be able to keep my 3576G2 setup more than fed with enough fuel when the time comes for the Magnum shortblock to go in with the Spoolinator kit - though it made need some help if I go above a 3576r

Just got some pics of the final Dark Matter X units that are shipping out on the week of the 10th.

Hoping to get the car back on the road by the end of January.

Finishing up the 6MT swap - got the rear knuckles sandblasted and coated with POR-15 to completely eliminate the evidence of their use in 4 East Canada winters. Getting very excited.

If only it were that simple

John has cars that have been at his shop 6+ months so I'm trying to be understanding of the slow progress.

R180 axles being rebuilt - after the axles, the driveshaft is all that's left of the swap to finish.

And in the name it spool and response, my 10cm 20G-XTR is currently being ported, polished and ceramic coated.

Will the porting raise the flow above 47 lb/min?

I don't think so since I believe it's determined by the compressor wheel specs, and not the housing.

The compressor and turbine housings are both being P&Pd.

Well, good to know it's getting the royal treatment. Getting a good deal on a turbo certainly gives you some leeway on expenses!

It's going to be wrapped with a turbo blanket as well once it's installed

Hoping to spool somewhere before 4500 even on pump gas...

Thanks again my friend.

While we wait for the 20G's hotside to finish the being coated, the Radium surge tank is being put into position with a custom bracket offsetting it at an angle in order to allow fitment with any FMIC piping I want (I have a giant Treadstone kit in my garage), add a tank style AOS, and keep my strut tower bar (hopefully). The surge tank is wrapped in tape to prevent overspray when painting the welds on the bracket.

You can see the chunky 6MT in the background peaking out a bit. The trans swap is all but complete.

P&P + gasket matching turned out pretty good IMO.

All that's left is electrical at this point.

We are very close.

Finally some pics! You can see the surge tank and the BPT logo peaking out a bit.

If all goes well should be hitting the dyno Friday.

Half comp inducer, half blade count.

The comp inducer is your restrictor plate

Tuner spent Friday dialing in the idle, and checking out the 6MT on the lift, but the car drives as it should.

Next is building the rest of the basemap, and getting it over to the alignment shop to adjust the camber, caster and toe before the rest of the tune.

After the alignment is finished, she's hittin' the dyno.

Will be making a new thread when I get the results from the final tune.

Yesterday was spent on the Mainline tuning the car for idle, start up, tip in, and all the boring smoothness stuff up to 4k RPM without boost. Oil temp and pressure look great: 30 psi idle, 80s during cruise on the dyno - Highest oil temp was 190F

Car was dropped off at the alignment shop at 8 this morning, so hopefully power pulls can start today when it's returned. I'll post a pump gas dyno sheet if I have one today.

Had to target a fairly aggressive alignment because the PS4S 215s were rolling over a touch during cornering even with a decently high tire pressure.

Flex fuel tune should hopefully be tomorrow.

Standalone tunes sure do take a lot longer than AP tunes

FINALLY! Got the car tuned today and the results were impressive - I'll be making a new thread with all of the changes listed when I get the car back (there are a few finishing touches that need buttoning up) but I am happy with the numbers. And just like my tuner said, the EWG didn't flutter one bit

92 pump: 330WHP/315WTQ

E85 (E80 during tuning): 360WHP/349WTQ

Nice, I knew that 20g-xtr had some life left in it. How much psi were you at?
