Thanks I like it, though I still think about Karlton flares, but can't bring myself to cut it up. Might find another one and do just that. LoL Gotta have a host for the motor when I pull it out.

Well it's March 2022 darn near April and I'm still making poor financial decisions when it comes to the STi. SMH I may or may not post an update here. If no one is reading, no update. If I get at least 10 posts of interest I'll add the update I'm going to post in IG/Facebook which is happening after the Gridlife NCM event on 4-15/16-2022.

So things have been like a tsunami the past several months. Got diagnosed with cancer and have been treated as far as I'm concerned I'm cured, confirmation comes in early May.

I'm undecided on installing the engine I'm building for Lucille. I assembled the engine stand and was hoping to start on it this month. My dilemma is do I rip apart a perfectly good car or find a clean host (another GD targeting a 2005 STI roller)? If I do plan B I won't feel so bad if it's involved in an "incident". So many pluses if I go plan B.

To get me back on track last summer I impulse bought a 2002 Honda EP3 because it was somewhat clean and cheap with the intention of going back to the track where I had the accident to get back on the horse so to speak. I was also planning to attend a few autocross events and had the car prepped so I thought. The night before the autocross I went to start it and the idle was fluctuating. I scratched the autocross but a few weeks later took it idle flux and all to a HPDE at the track where I hit the tire wall. After a lap or two I realized what caused the 2019 incident and swear it will never happen again.

As I work through the engine build and attend some Cars and Coffee events I'll be posting on my Instagram Got2boostit2. Updating there because easier to add images, as NASIOC image hosting link seems to have issues.

Sorry to hear about your cancer diagnosis. As a person with multiple people in my life having fought/still fighting cancer I'm glad to hear you're coming out on top and have a positive mindset, hold on to it and stay strong! Your car is inspirational...and one of the reasons I decided to do my hub swap. Do the plan B.

Finally swapped out the steering wheel I've had in a box since the start of Covid. Looks and feels so much better. https://www.instagram.com/p/CeHPRpZv..._web_copy_link

Gixhost, thanks trying, why be down? 1st time in life and until it stops me dead in my steps then I'm going to stay positive. Glad my idea of a Subaru is inspirational to someone. And have done to many plans, LoL. Last minute loss of caregiver coverage caused me to miss event. Have another one coming up for 3 days next weekend and taking Lucille. Should be fun.

I was absent from here for a while, so I just read about your situation and wish you continued success and strength in overcoming it. I just checked out your IG. The car looks great. That Nvus track shot really shows the stance... I like it, just right...

Thanks, took car back to Gingerman for 2022 Festival. Lucille performed well but at that track I'm stuck for whatever reason. Can't seem to improve even though I know the car is capable. SMH I'll go back in October and we will see as I will time every session.

Hoping one of the images taken that I will post on IG will show current stance in same corner.

The link in your post did not work (just FYI), but I did navigate to the Nvusimages site and looked up the October 15/16 event and saw your car in a few pics. Really beautiful!

There were a lot of interesting cars there. I chuckled when I saw the new WRX with Illinois plates "CIVIC"!
