Catastrophic clutch failure, throw out bearing, where it went from "hear that little noise" to unusable 40 miles later rolling up to the dealer. Oh that was a $1400 clutch at 95,000 easy miles. Now at 102,000 miles the center diff is knocking like a rock crusher when you turn past half way, estimate an easy $2200. I've always driven used clapped out, high mileage, Nissans and Hondas and none have ever cost me so much bread. I was thinking Japanese car and parts.
