Alright guys heres pics of my car as requested. Just to restate the specs so people dont have to scroll around to find it.

17x9 +17 Offset (yes, there rota grids, +42 offset with a 25mm spacer = +17) with the factory WRX dunlop 235/45/17 tire.

My fenders are rolled front and rear. The rear is unbelievably close but it give me the stance and look I want. Car is on Tein Coilovers as well. Personally I love how it sits so much. The wheels do poke and hopefully you can get a reference of how much poke there actually is. I think it looks awesome because the stretched tire brings it all together. Doesnt have a meaty tire poking out which I think looks goofy. Hope this helps you guys figure out what you want or dont want!

Enjoy

I don't know....... You might be able to get the fender a little closer to the tire!

in all seriousness, I can appreciate the look you are going for. Although I wouldn't be able to make it out of my driveway without tearing that entire front end off.

Haha you can barely fit a credit card between the fender and tire. But it fits! And it's all in the technique. I know my limits though. I learned the hard way a few times...

looks pretty darn good actually. for those specific grids (17x9), would the +35 have more concavity than the +42? if it makes no difference, i might as well just get the +42 since it would fit my brembos and i could possibly stuff wider tires while im at it.

The +35 would be slightly more concave. How noticeable is it? Probably very slight. I went with the 42 originally because wheel offset scared me haha. But it ended up working out perfect because I love it with the spacer and if I went +35 they would've poked to much.

Does anyone know if a 18x9.5 +40 wheel with a 265/35/18 tire will have clearance issues with the front struts? I'm also lowered on Blacks.

Thank god, I've been panicking because my coils haven't arrived yet, but my wheels/tires did. I guess I'll see tomorrow.

You should be fine. I wouldn't stress it. Doesn't seem to like that crazy of a setup

wrong. its the exact same face. offset has nothing to do with the wheel face.

Well got everything on. They rubbed like CRAZY before I got the roll. It was actually pretty scary. Anyone know of a good way to clean off the peeling tire?

Hey did you only have clearance issues with the back? I want a similar setup like yours but I am hoping to get away with only a roll in the back.. The front doesn't look Ike there is much that can be done..

if you're lowered you'll need a front roll as well.

Cool thanks for your information ! I want to go 17x9.5 with with a shorter tire than factory.. Hopefully get a little faster 0-60..

Did your emergency braking suffer at all from the extra rotating mass?.. With factory tires I feel that it's too easy to lock them up and our abs feels kinda lackluster..

Thanks for the help in advance I'm thinking about some Advan ad08s on Volk VR G2s 245/40/18x9.5+43 for a 2012 sti hatch and was wondering if I would need to roll the rears? I know that stock tire size doesn't normally require a roll but the ad08s run pretty wide/square and the 9.5s might contribute a little width too... Suspension is currently stock but I will probably be switching to gtworx/rce yellows in the future.

If you're running 9.5's you're pretty much gonna have to roll your fenders
