Default Arizona Subaru Impreza Club - sticker idea

Ok here it is...I went to Hot Import Nights and I saw every friggin' car make had a club (az350, az-ht, etc...)

I know a bunch of the local guys from dinner meets, and the guys at kingpin...so I was thinking about coming up with a decal we could put somewhere.

I saw every other car club and all that made me because we are a closer community than any of the others...

Here it is...let me know if you guys like it....I want to get these made...they will be dirt cheap...a few dollars

Martin

keep in mind there is an influx lately of SOA/FHI lawsuits against groups using the names "subaru", "impreza", "wrx" and the like...

also keep in mind azsubaru.org has existed for a year, but you phoenix wankers never use it...

also note that azsubaru.org will be changing its name within the next few months, however, to avoid possible legal action from SOA/FHI.

you'll run into issues as we have printing stickers with copyrighted names too...which is why were changing names....could never find anyone to 'bend' the rules and print tshirts/stickers.

I'm not a big sticker guy, but I think a small one for our local group would be cool.

a little twist on the orignal sticker idea...

a rough idea, im open to suggestions, i would be cool to have a small sticker made, maybe 6 inches by 2 inches. could be put just about anywhere without being an eyesore.

How about it saying Arizona Scooby-I Club, that way you avoid any possible FHI legal entanglement?

Legally, sticker places wont print those stickers as is using the copyrighted names "subaru" and "impreza".

Im just guessing here, but I dont think Subaru is going to file a copyright suit against a club formed on the premise of supporting their product, so long as its not for profit. Im sure a sticker company will make this design, havent you seend those stupid Piss on chevy, ford, dodge stickers?? I promise those dont have General Motors endorsments hahahaha. My only request is that the sticker is a cutout, i hate thos square and rectangular stickers, vinly cutouts look so much better.

I don't like the cactus. The font is cool. cutouts do look better. white, black, or WRB. Maybe we should think of an actual name for us...ideas: AZ Flat Four (using 'four' references both the engine and the AWD), AZ Four Performance, AZ Four the Win, AZ Scooby Enthusiasts (or) Club, AZ Driven Four, ...

personally im for the cactus, it kinda sets it apart. (az nativedesert style )

Seems there are three things that need to be decided...

design of the sticker
the 'official' name, as to avoid infringement (if thats something that needs to be worried about)
sticker color

throw out your ideas, if you have designs get em up and then we can set up a poll and get this figured out so we can get the stickers made.

oh and... +1 for vinyl cut out style...
