Like the old thread about the Euro Motor clubs.. that is what I am looking for...

Wasn't this tried with AZScooby and then fought against tooth-n-nail by some of it's members who shalt remain unnamed?

That being said, I might be intested depending on locations and day of the week...

What? Who?

Doing a little bench racing once a month or so sounds good. Weekdays nights can be rough for me though. I couldn't guarantee any given night.

Yeah, but those AzScooby folks had some hella rul--- I mean suggestions for everyone... notice the

yeah, but Bud, those of us with a LIFE can't guarantee the weekends... LOL...

I'm thinkin it would be VERY low key, bench racing, and having a good time. No dues, duties or other stuff in the beginning. When we get more organized, maybe some shirts or something. Some organized car washes for charity, or a charity TSD or something. Just looking to get the auto enthusiasts more family like....

...don't you mean strong suggestions. (Sorry, I couldn't resist. All in good fun.)

That word "family" always worries me (whose family?... Charlie Manson's or Jerry Falwell's). I moved 2,000 miles to get away from my family.

Now, getting together with a bunch of friends for a beer, some pizza, and BS'ing about motorsports... That sounds like a pretty good time.

PS: Between running web sites, organizing a rally, and running an entire rallycross season where do _you_ find time to have a life?

Bill,
I still have hopes that we could do this sort of thing with azscooby. We've already set the precedent of allowing non-subarus to at least to hang out with us (in all our coolness..).

I'm almost always up for like-minded socialization, no matter what the name of the group is, so with that focus, I'm interested.

Eric, you do know that the AZ Border Region SCCA is running TSDs, don't you?
