Nice find! I might try to go check it out this weekend. First time I've seen an 07 show up in the yard!

Stopped by Crazy Rays yesterday to check out the '07 impreza. It was already pretty stripped, motor, wheels, and all exhaust gone. Only things that seemed to be left were the tranny, struts, axles, and front seats (which had some rips in the bolstering).

You have to wonder how that wagon made its way to the junk yard. There didn't look to be much exterior damage in any of the photos. I hope whoever grabbed the motor doesn't need it to drop right in and work, as I figure it is either motor or transmission issues that sent it to the graveyard.

I swung by over the weekend and walked around before getting to the '07 forester in the back of the lot. Nabbed some nice looking tail lights and the 3 spoke steering wheel. The lights are growing on me, but do look better than my stock '03 forester tail lights. I need to buy an airbag module, as the guard/checkout guy wouldn't let me walk out with the one from the forester. I mean, I understand, but the driver's side wasn't in the Takata recall. Meh, whatever.

EVL RS-T, going to send you a PM. Hadn't seen your reply until now.

I have a bunch of the part numbers documented on my build thread on RS25.com
http://www.rs25.com/forums/f145/t188...t-wrx-ecu.html

But TLDR;
- 2005 EJ253 cam gears (13017AA042 & 13019AA051)
- 2005 EJ253 crank sprocket (13021AA141)
- 2002 WRX ECU
- 2001 legacy throttle body
- Custom patch harness for ECU

The Jessup Crazy Rays has an '05 Legacy GT, with the EJ255 engine still in place. Someone has already taken the turbo, intercooler, and alternator, but the engine is still there. Engines are only $232, so that's a heckuva deal waiting for someone to go get it.

I think the car still had the big GT brakes, too. (I actually didn't look at the passenger side, but driver front was definitely there.)

Just got email notification that there's a silver '01 2.5RS at the Jessup Crazy Rays. 5-speed, typical rust bubbling on the rear quarters. Interior looks pretty good in the pics. Note on the windshield says "motor tapping".

And today I got notification that Jessup has a silver '05 WRX sedan 5MT. Pretty hard impact on the nose, driver side, looks like the engine might be damaged based on how far the nose is pushed in. Aftermarket wheels. TEIN sticker on the windshield, so maybe some coil-overs to grab?

Looks like as of the past day or so the Jessup location of LKQ / Crazy Ray's has closed. I was just looking at it a couple days ago and considering going there this weekend to get some parts for my Legacy. Logged into my "dashboard" on the LKQ website this morning and the Jessup location no longer comes up, and Google Maps already shows it as "permanently closed". Quite a bummer, as that was the closest location to me. Now I'm hoping the couple of cars I was planning to pick from will be shifted to one of the other locations, but I'm not gonna hold my breath on that.

Looks like as of 3/1, wonder if the property is worth too much now?

That sucks, been picking parts there for 20 years off and on.

It's really hard to make money selling land that's been used as a junkyard- the environmental cleanup is EXPENSIVE....

There's an '04 Forester XT with a complete drivetrain (automatic) at the Mt. Airy yard. It's in the "Trucks" section, so maybe that's why it didn't get found and stripped immediately?

The Hawkins Point location has a 2000 2.5RS coupe, automatic, as of a few days ago. Silver, typical rear quarter panel rot (based on the pics on their website). Interior actually looks pretty good in the pics. I don't really need anything from it, so I'm resisting temptation to go up there and grab parts "just in case" or to sell off.

Got an email update today that the Edgewood location took in a 2000 2.5RS automatic sedan. Looks like it's BRP in the pics.
