Default Crazy Rays and Subarus

Looking to hit up a Crazy Rays junkyard tomorrow for some Outback/Legacy seats for the beater. They have several locations but my question is which one has the most Subarus? I've been to the Hawkins Point location a few months ago and may head that way tomorrow. TIA for any insight.

I did not have any luck looking for Subarus or anything remotely new for that matter at the Jessup location.

It's been hit-or-miss at Jessup and Mt. Airy. The one time I did see a bug-eye WRX at Jessup, the only thing there was a shell -- absolutely no interior, no drivetrain, and even the wheels were gone (it was sitting on four mini-spares). The only reason I looked at it was because I'd just bought my '06, and I was looking for stock shock bodies to cut up for my Koni inserts.

I'm over near Ocean City so it's a pretty good haul for me to any of the Crazy Rays locations. I just haven't had any luck finding 00-04 Outback or Legacy seats in black. I'm trying to save myself some gas money. Lol. Thanks.

I always say **** it and get the new park since used parts can be sketchy.

Mt Airy usually has a bunch of 95-99 Legacys/Outbacks. I usually hit that one or Jessup. 00-04 Legacys/Outbacks are kind of rare at Rays. I will occasionaly see a SVX or two and some Foresters, but thats about it.

Mt Airy always has a bunch of late 90s Subarus. If you don't see anything you like, hit me up. I have a full set of RS seats from a '00 and I'm literally 5 minutes from the Mt Airy location.

It's been a while since I've been to any of their locations (since I moved down to Norfolk last fall), but I used to go to the Jessup and Mt. Airy locations relatively frequently. '95-99 Legacys/Outbacks were almost always there, but I don't think I ever saw anything newer than that.

Man if I would have known i would cruise up there with you. I have some cash if you find any h6 brackets or another one of those elusive intake manifolds with tgvs.

Don't worry. I didn't head out like I originally planned. Maybe in a few weeks. I'll let you know. We can head out together. :-)

That works do you want to plan to hit more than one like we did last time.

I'll probably just hit up a few crazy rays locations. Seems to be the best bet.

Are there any other junkyards in the Baltimore area that have Subarus by the truck load????

Baltimore, western md, nova, lower pa. Anywhere really willing to take a ride if there is parts there. Prefer a pick it yard.

www.car-parts.com searches parts yards.

Also Brandywine auto parts has a location with subarus. Call ahead and ask if they have such and such car. Saves you the trip.

Parted a lot of it out about 10 grand worth of parts to be exact however when you goto then sell the shell you get more money for leaving stuff, I wanted even more cash for a down payment on the new car so I left some stuff with the car to net me more cash. Couldn't beat it the car was paid off so I got 15500 from insurance bought it back for 1300 and parted parts for 10k and then got 2500 for the shell lol I made out like a banshee

Still killed me not to keep the car and rebuild it but at that time I was living with my parents and they didn't want a project sitting at their house taking up space

By any chance was it a blue sedan that was rolled?

It caught fire i believe. However you have spurred interest as to this rolled blue sedan. Was it a hawkeye with a black hood?

It was a bugeye at Jessup a while back. My friend was looking through it and found a Perrin rear sway bar with endlinks and stout mounts in the trunk. Not bad for $15.

Ah nice find. We had a 06 traded in at a local dealership. Full invidia exhaust, tmic, and some sort of large turbo. Of course one of the salesman put it in a ditch and rolled it. Then went to wholesale
