I very rarely get drunk anymore. I work evenings and it doesn't really mix with my job at the moment.

Me to sadly. I work 430pm-430am Monday to Friday so I usually go out for a bit Saturday night and Sunday afternoon. Good thing is I save money on beer and made losing a few pounds easier. Definitely tossing back a few today watching the US Open.

That's a shift if I ever heard one. How long have you been working those hours?

It's been about 4 years now. A couple times in between projects we will switch to 4-10 hour shifts but lasts a month at most.

Well, I'm looking at a different one in civil service. Took the exam a year ago, I think I'm looking good as far as getting a call sooner than later. I just got a canvass letter so fingers are crossed. Much better hours, but still a bad plan to be a drunk.

Hahaha not at all. We got a new safety guy at work and he came in at 4am last week to talk with us. Said he was going to try and do some night hours each week. He said he worked nights for10 years... 1pm-930pm, we all started laughing at him.

My shift next week is going to be 1pm-1130pm. It may be worse than overnights because your morning, aft'n and night are all shot.

That's why I don't really mind the shift I have. I get to sleep in until 8:30 every morning and if I want to go out after work I can without feeling like a douche the next morning.

45 min lunch. They treat me well though. They should. I've been there 13 years.

I'm drinking a Bud Light Mixxtail "Hurricane." It is unsurprisingly not that great.

Anyone here ever try modenafil aka Provigil?

my wife's had a few of the different flavors. she says none of them are really all that great. You're better off with one of those $2 frozen daily's booze thingers..
