AFRs inconsistent with Water meth?
I have a Snow boost referenced kit "stage 2" with an older analog controller that is supposed to increase water meth flow based on boost. On two back to back WOT pulls with nearly identical ignition timing, boost and MAF G/s, I have AFR 11.1 once and 10.4 the next time. I can only imagine this is inconsistency related pump or controller.
I'm running a #4 Devil's own nozzle currently. I don't really want to get rid of the water meth altogether because I am running on 93. My gut reaction is to go to a smaller nozzle. I'd rather it be 11.1 and 11.6 than 10.4 and 11.1. My Open loop table is set to 12.46 and I feel that my MAF scaling is pretty good (very low LT fuel trims like 1-2%). I'm running around 50% , maybe a little more methanol. Is this an issue other people have? Could it perhaps be quenching combustion intermittently,.. leading to the overly rich AFRs?
