Subaru Stars Pics of the "Silver Sleeper" STi

These are up to date pictures of the "Silver Sleeper" (as it was called in D-Sport magazine) - the ones in D-Sport magazine were almost a year old.

Instead of using my own camera, I borrowed a much better one. As these pics prove, I suck at photography and it has never been the camera's fault.

This is the car in the exact same state it was in when it ran the 10.5 second quarter mile pass. I drove to the track, made the passes, and drove it home.

The car is a 2004 STi with just a "few" changes.

Yep, it's the APS 3.5" exhaust. I ran it at the track on the Neovas, absolutely no changes to the car other than the fuel and the corresponding ECU map - in full street trim.

Actually, the seats are made-to-order black leather from Recaro and not from the Evo. I think the Evo seats have fabric inserts. I'm a leather freak myself, so I needed the full leather versions.

D-Sport magazine nicknamed it the "Silver Sleeper" (and it was running "only" 11.3 at the time) so it's kind of stuck with the car. Surprisingly, it's not obnoxiously loud with the 3.5" exhaust.

The hood is a 'Car Service Hiro Battle Hawk'. As far as I know, only a couple of them exist and they are made to order, but I've been wrong many times before, so don't take that as gospel.

Of course. One must have a nice radio when cruising down America's interstates.

There is a very nice multimedia system with a 120GB hard drive hidden from view. The Bazooka's have custom drivers that are hooked up to a 1000 watt Rockford Fosgate amp.
