After messing around with my car for about a year now. Though I would make a post about what it is and what I have done to it so far. FYI I am open to suggestions on my car. I'm still new to the whole car/Subaru scene so any advice or help is always welcome.

So I got my car back in the beginning of 2020 right before covid hit for a nice $4000. Only issue was that the head gasket was probably going to go soon. But I ended up getting the car cause I had just fallen in love with the way it looked. It was definitely rough and the previous owners had gotten into a collision mashing in the front left fender and front bumper. Also sadly the car is the 4 speed automatic, but im happy since it is my first car.

So after having owner the car for a few weeks, I finally got my license and was able to drive it on my own. And Ill admit owning a car like this and having friends that are car people didn't help. So I saved up money from working for a while and was able to find a replacement bumper and bought a new fender and got them painted then put them on. And after wrenching on my car for the first time, I started to sink even more down the rabbit hole

I ended up buying new yellow fog lights to go on the car which I think look amazing especially cause of the two-tone of the obs.

Next on the list was tires. The ones that were on the car were really bad. Like I shouldn't have been driving on them kind of bad. But I had a dilemma. Get new tires for my car now. Or get new tires and rims so I don't have to get new tires a year from now. My rims were very oxidized or rusty. I couldn't tell but they were not in great condition. So I sat on the issue for a while longer. Even though I probably shouldn't have.

In the mean time I decided my car needed a little kick in the pants. So I saved up for a while longer and got a new catback exhaust. I got a Stromung Single Tip Catback for the 99-05 RS/TS. And luckily It bolted right up to my OBS. It sounds amazing at least to me. My neighbors might not be super happy with me but as long as I keep the car under 2k rpm in my neighborhood there isn't much issue. But on the road it sounds amazing.

After a while of thinking about it I decided on tires and rims. And WOW do I not regret my decision. I got Michelin pilot sport 4's and I got myself some Sparco Asseto Gara rims in White. While white may not have been the best color for keeping clean looking rims. They look amazing on my car. Im really starting to like the way it looks
I took a break from working on anything for a while since my steering column rubbed a hole through a transmission line... Thanks previous owners. But that cost a good chunk of change especially since one of my 02 sensors went at the same time.
But recently I spent graduation money on new headlights and mud flaps for the car.

I really love this car. Id love to get a new cat and headers to finish off the exhaust but sadly I live in Colorado and at the beginning of 2021 Colorado adopted California emissions laws so that might be put on the backburner until im done with college and can move away from here since I still need to daily drive the car. I would also love to make more power with the engine or at least some more torque but the car is 18 years old and wasn't treated the best before I got it so Im afraid to push more power directly to the engine like with a turbo. Maybe a engine swap is in store for the future
