What’s the pros and cons of a fp blue or a pt6062 turbo set up?

Totally different turbos from what I can see.
Fp blue is a 52mm journal bearing with internal wg 6062 is a 60mm, ball bearing, ewg only Edit: I guess you can get the fp blue in ball bearing as well... |

It's not really an apples to apples comparison... stock frame vs full frame.
Full frame turbo kit will upgrade most of your hardware since the bolt-on stuff won't work. It will flow better and make more power. |

If you don't have more fuel supply fp blue xr is probably as far as you can push it... I ran 3584rs custom.. the difference was minimal in performance and 10x in price when you factor in custom header, ewgs, subfrace and skidplate fabrication for fitment etc.. get the blue and be happy :-).. you can get it ported larger iirc and also ceramic coated..

I’m port injected with brz manifold, killer b ewg header, fp blue, ets intercooler and motec ecu. If I go to a ets kit with a 6062 is there a difference?

When is Unabomber going to pull up and tell him he hasn't researched?
But for real, just be like everyone else and get the FP blue and run it on E50. Last edited by K3rm1tth3fr0g; 05-17-2021 at 01:16 PM. |

This is a question for your tuner. All depends on how far your port injection can take you. Fp blue BB is going to have much better response, 6062 will make more top end, how much more again just depends on the fueling. As mentioned above there are better options than 6062
