Sweet idea. My driveway isn't flat, so I cant put my car up on stands to get under it outside of my garage, This would be cool to use outside so I can really get under it.

Thanks! yeah, the washer that I made works great and is very simple and inexpensive to make! it saves you the hassle by not having to put it on stands in order to get to your undercarriage. Try it out and let me know how you make out and if you have any questions!!

Any reason a simple lawn watering spraying nozzle wouldn’t work?

Also I hate using the hose in the winter you have to completely drain it every time so it doesn’t freeze up.

I mean techiqually you can use the spray nozzle but this spread out more and covers half the car with one swipe where the nozzle only covers about 3 inches or however wide the nozzle head is.

Lawn sprayer nozzles with a long wand and swiveling head do help get the water behind calipers, rotors and the back side of knuckles and hub carriers where parts are prone to rust well. But it's very difficult to blast the bottom of the car with just that. I still need to use my lawn sprinkler for that.

I also found that just blasting water from the bottom alone does not get water to the back side of knuckles and hub carriers resulting in rust. If one's anal like me, you really need to remove each wheel and clean the area + touch it up with some paint and some oil.
