Default Realization of a reoccuring dream

I've started to recognize one reoccuring dream I've been having.

and I've been having it for quite some time.

there is really only one element of it that ties together.

from what I recall all the dreams have the common theme of my vision being impaired. everything is blurry.. seems like I can't see well straight ahead.. but I can still make things out decently, just kinda distorted and hard to focus on.

Also one other thing that tends to occur in these dreams, I am very weak.

I recall being chased a few times.. but my vision making that a truely frustrating task.. and when I'd turn to fight my movements were weak and labored.

no buggering idea..
just something I had been thinking about and realized that it had come up quite a few times in various dreams

I used to have dreams like that quite often. I would be chased by something or have to defend myself in a fight to the death and I wouldn't be able to walk, throw a punch, etc. I don't remember having one in quite a while, but I don't remember dreams too much.

I get dreams like that a lot too. generally different circumstances, but the weakness/vision thing is common for me. Everything is out of focus. I know what's there, but can't "see" it. Usually I'm weak and can't move anything or beat up anyone. I also get a feeling of dizzyness and can barely stand sometimes. The more I try to focus on things, the more disoriented I get.

I also die a lot, but that only happens in dreams where I'm coherent. in the weakness dreams I just flounder about and can't do much of anything, but I never end up dying.

I had a very vivid dream last night as I was going to sleep.

I was driving my new Miata, hit a puddle hydroplaned hitting my face on the windshield. Hard.

It woke me up. A glass of water and a trip to the john and I was all better.

last friday night I had two dreams in a row, exactly the same. except, in the first dream, I had won the fight, but the 2nd dream I lost it.. it was very matrix-ish in the fighting style, and for once I was fighting fast.. after I lost the 2nd fight, everything seemed to shatter away into black and I woke up.

Fish - my interpretaiton (sp?) of your dream would be you're having problems making decisions. And as a result of not making decisions you feel weak & powerless. Also the blurred vision could mean you're having trouble seeing what the future holds for you. Again could be because you're having trouble making decisions.

Before I left home many moons ago, I had 3 dreams about being raped and I can still remember them in great detail and they were all very different. As soon as I left home I quit having them. I think it must've been anxiety about having freedom taken from me, of being helpless, feeling trapped, something like that.
