Default STI stolen in Albuquerque between 11/20 - 11/26

Hey all. First time post and unfortunately it’s not under good circumstances. I had a 2014 dark grey metallic STI Hatch that was stolen sometime between 11/20 and 11/26. They broke into our house and used our car keys to steal our cars. Mine was in the garage and my wife’s was in front of the garage. PA license plate in the rear. If you spot it please call Albuquerque PD at 242 COPS and PM me.

Any update on your car? Also, what part of ABQ were/are you in? I'll be in the area in the next week or so and will keep an eye out.

No, not really. We live on the west side, by 40 and Unser. Cops haven’t provided anything but a few people did state that they saw the car a couple weeks ago driving around the Ladera Heights area. But we’ve had no luck searching that area and no sightings since. That’s pretty much all we can do at this point. Hope we get lucky and see them driving it around. Thanks for keeping an eye out though, I appreciate it.

Still no luck with finding my car unfortunately. Thanks all for keeping an eye out. Now I’m in the process of going back n forth with my insurance. Because, of course, they don’t want to give me anything for any of my aftermarket parts. Which is frustrating. I understand not giving full retail and only covering certain things, but to flat out say no to covering anything aftermarket is beyond frustrating to say the least.

pretty typical - I am sure their opinion is they were insuring a standard 11 STi, and defined their rates accordingly (which is fair). If you have extra or custom stuff, you really need to talk to your insurance company to get it added on, otherwise, while they might throw you a bone, they really don't have to.
