Question Yokohama YK420 = Dunlop Sport A2 ?

I need some new tires. I have been searching the forums and other sites for a decent tire and I have a good idea of what I want. I ned a good all season tire (I live in Seattle). I love to drive aggressively, but I drive up the mountains in the snow too, so I need a good tire that can cover the specturm.

Anyway, I just called Discount Tire and the guy there told me that the Yokohama YK420 is identical to the Dunlop Sport A2. Is this true? Does anyone have experience with the Yokohama?
He quoted me $513.52 installed for the Dunlops and $452.60 installed for the Yokohamas.

I just want the best tire for my driving, and the money.

Thanks in advance for your input.

Tony

the YK420 is a non-directional private label version of the Avid H which does offer good ride quality but, the SP Sport A2 offers better steering response, wet traction and overal performance

Just bought the dunlops you are talking about...and they are riding really well right now. Only had them for about 2000 miles so far so sorry I can't give you much info on wet wether traction and snow but I have read good things.

but I paid about 450 for them installed at discount tire. did not pay for the insurance....waste of money if you ask me.
