Dealership in Birmngham, Al 6K over MSRP!!!
I just went to my subaru dealership, Jim Burke subaru in downtown Birmingham, and they were $6000 over MSRP!!
so basically i told them they were nuts and that they were probably not going to sell any of them (the evo's here came out at $5000 over and none of them sold untill they went down in price). anyway im not worried about it becuase i have since found 3 of them at MSRP or close to it so i guess it sucks for Jim Burke ill take my money somewhere else anyway just wanted to warn everyone to stay away from Jim Burke Automotive. for anyone that has a deposit at Jim Burke let me know and ill see if the ones i found are still available good luck on prices everyone

I just went by and saw that as well....
And I came straight home to post it, looks like someone beat me to it I too will be letting them know what I think about their MAA or "Market Area Adujustment" as they call it..... I know of 2 Birmingham area people that have gone out of state to get theirs at MSRP... -Nathan |

Did you guys notice if the cars had air conditioning?
I'm wondering if you guys noticed if the WRX STi vehicles you saw had air conditioning.
The brochure info I read showed no air conditioning for the WRX STi. |

not so far... thats why i called every subaru dealership in the southeast a few days ago
but so far i have one one on reserve in ft walton, fl with Lee Subaru and a dealership called me today abo a silver one in nashville..... both msrp oh and i found one in releigh nc for $500 over msrp but that isnt really so bad when you think about it... my only concern is now that everyone is going out of state to get their sti's are the dealerships here in birmingham going to hold a grudge against us and be jerks when we go in for service.... i guess if they are we can always contact soa and report them (i feel like im in high school all over again ) but if anyone is interested in the sti in nashville (its silver with wheels on it with options....but it is msrp) they should still have it... ill have to get the info tomorow though since i dont have it on me.... and the one in nc is at (somewhere) but the phone number i called was 919-395-7966 and i talked to gladymir joseph.... btw if they sold the blue one with silver wheels all of their others are $3000 over msrp so be carefull |
