Default Here's one way to get an STi

I was looking through google.com for long-term financing on the STi... since I've had a crappy year of working more and earning less, it doesn't seem at all possible for me to get the car.

I stumbled across "elitedrivers.com" - it's a company that will manage the sharing of an exotic between as many as 5 people. You pay a big chunk as a down payment + another $2000+ to have this company divy up the schedule and garage it when not is use. When a few years have passed, the car is sold and the money distributed amongst the 5 "owners." Incredible what people will come up with...

I don't suppose the STi would count as an exotic, but I can dream, right?

The other way I suppose I could try to get an STi is to mimic what may be an urban legend... I remember hearing about a kid who saved up his money and bought a full page ad in the New York Times asking some wealthy philanthropist to give him his dream car - a Ferrari 308. Apparently it worked - or I was duped again by the urban legend punks. Maybe I should try it?

Any philanthropists on the board?!!

This kind of 'deal' has been around for ages.
It's basically a property time-share.
Same as what folks do in real estate, corporate helicopters and boats too.

I wanted to start something like elitedrivers.com a couple of years ago... Seems like a good idea but the problem is that each person has to pay some serious money, and they don't really get to call the car their own.
