Default Spotted an STI in Dallas on 05/07/03

At lunch time driving around looking for something to eat. I saw a truck full of Foresters and an STI. This was downtown Dallas, and no Subie dealer within 15-20 miles.

Anyway, at first glance it looked like a 2004 WRX, with the new headlights, then I noticed the all the STI goodies, the fog light covers, the spoiler, rims and badging, then a light bulb turned on, and I realized it was an STI.

It looks 100x times better in person than in print. There is not a hint of ricey boy looks, as it appears in the brochures. The pink STI lettering is very subdued. The rims were not gold, but silver, the wing is large, but not ricey. The car was silver. Looks mean but not flashy!!!

I am not sure where the car was going, but I thought the release dat was late June. All the cars on the truck had the window stickers on them.
