waiting for msrp announcement, just to make it official. This is a great car, and it addresses my only 2 real complaints about the WRX: tranny and displacement. If it comes in close to $30k, I will put my deposit down. or $30.5k if they let me delete the wing

Just got the go ahead from the wife. We are going to sell the sedan and replace it with an STi. I love having a speed junkie for a wife.

I am getting one. I am probably the only one at my dealer so hopefully I will get it when they first arrive. Black, blue or white, no silver. Although I have seen Subaru's white paint and it always looks weird to me. The bumpers always look like they are different shade of white. If it wasn't so I would get white in a heartbeat.

BTW I paid my deposit today. $2000.

Whats this NO SILVER? Well other than that small detail I will have mine as soon as Peninsula Subaru gets it in and then it goes right from there to the shop to get everything from the 02 put on it, I started stripping the 02 at 3:02 EST and will be done sometime tomorrow. I am glad i saved all the stock stuff. I might leave the Downpipe on the 02. BTW has anybody managed a pic of the JDM turbo manifold? Is it most likely the Cast piece that 01-02 had? I mean I wont bother taking off the GTS header if there isnt any point.

I'd love an STi but money dictates that I will be going with the "regular" WRX come march.

count me in. I would love to kick my own ass. I couldn't wait I just had to go and get an 03 wagon but what the hell. Really I would never have dreamed they would change the bodystyle and give it that much power. Anyway, the wife and I figure by late summer early fall, after I have finally graduated from college, we will ditch her intrepid and get a STI. Of course she gets my wagon and I get the beast.
