Made some cuts with aviation tin snips, they cut very nicely!

I got the anti fog coating on the windshield and just anti scratch on the back and side windows.
Nice to know

I used 1/16" thick polycarbonate for my side and rear windows and 1/8" scratch resistant for the front. The scratch resistant is worth for the front as you will clean it a decent amount and the regular stuff will scratch and haze very quickly.

Are you gluing the quarter windows in or making them quick release? I have been trying to find a way for them to be removed quickly to make access/servicing between stages easier, but still seal fairly well and not weigh more than glass with the extra hardwear.

I will most likely be gluing mine in and putting the stock window trim back on. If I was going to make them removable i would use dzus 1/4 fasteners.

I have used dzus fasteners, they worked, but not very well. Most of the time I pop rivet them in, and it takes a rivet about every 3 inches on a curved surface, otherwise it will warp and start lifting between mounting places. On a flat surface you may be able to spread them farther apart.

I have a couple pics of Team Ziptie's rear quarter window setup. They used some quick release clips and pins through the OEM frame. It's been awhile since I looked at them, but they might have even hinged the leading edge so they could pop the single QR and swing the window out far enough to reach in and attend to the rear struts.

I reused the OEM frames for my quarter windows too, but I screwed them back in. I used self tapping screws for the other panels and truck cap foam gasket to line the openings. Mostly dry when it rains.....

I used rivnuts and bolts to secure them. They come off pretty quick and it looks clean.

Thanks I am pretty happy how they came out

I have a template for the side glass, and still have the rear window to get the shape of the rear window.

I just spray painted the outer edge, .095 thick, not worried about making a seal. But your could 3m window weld them in place, or use some sort of rubber material to make a gasket. I would rather have them removable.

A tip if you decide to do the front window- 1/8" thick lexan is available with an anti scratch coating to keep it from getting scratched up in a year, but you need to reinforce the lexan with 1 or 2 straps to keep it from bending in over 75 mph or so. It works great without for an autoX car, for a track car I'd want the reinforcement.

Here is another link for some already pre-cut lexan Subaru windows from Plastics-4-Performance:

This is from one of STi's Nurburgring cars:

^ note on those. The side widows come the same shape as the glass so that you can still have functional windows for whatever reason.

Nice work guys! Those Plastics-4-performance pieces look 'spensive..... Nice though!

Notes on the rear panel: Check rules before cutting vent holes (may not be permitted) and consider how to keep things dry when it rains.
