Blitz is the best performance wise. I think SCC or Turbo did a test on all those. Blitz had the highest HP numbers. If they are all running the same amount of boost i'm not sure how you can get more HP from different boost controllers but that's what they got.

As far as I'm concerned the most important feature of an EBC is its reliability. When you add a boost controller to your system you run the risk of accidentally losing the vacuum signal to your wastegate and getting into some tricky overboost situations. I don't think a magazine can test for that, its more of a test of time.

A better question would be: Who has had boost issues because of their EBC and what kind is it?

I do not think that boost issues are the real think to measure by as most people have trouble setting up their controllers properly. The simple one work well with not much trouble and the fancier ones with more features work very well when tuned but most out there are not tuned properly therefore do not work properly. I think that one has to decide what features they want and buy accordingly. I however am very much in favor of the APEXi AVC-R I find it easy to work with and it always works flawlessly when set up properly.
