Just a regular mini B to USB-A that goes straight into any of the 3 USB ports (OTG capable) on the new HU.

I'm stumped because my OP2 is still functional using the same USB cable to my Galaxy S8+ and old Joying Android HU. Both the old and new HU use the same ISO harness with the same exact pinout and connects to the 20-pin Subaru radio connector.

Isn't there an app on BTSSM site that will check if the cable is compatible

In the BTssm app, did you remember to switch input from Bluetooth to USB?

I don't recall such an issue.
Which car do you have? Which OBDII sensor are you using? Android version?

I'm using.

-OBDLink MX+ OBD2 Bluetooth Scanner for iPhone, Android, and Windows
-Samsung Galaxy S22 (everything is running the latestest available BTSSM / Android / The MX software)
-2013 Subaru STI Sedan

I only started getting the error this week, it scared the **** out of me the first time bc it reported a FKC of -12 or something.

But then I checked the log, and the entire line was off...
It might have started when i started to log extended parameters. But i tired logging with them off and still get the issue occasionally.

Like 1-2 times an hour (I log every time I drive)
