Faster shifting
Ok guys. What do you think about shifting this car while keeping it WOT. ? I mean, there is some lag when I shift, like if the turbo took half a sec to spool at each gear, even if I shift at 7K. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or...
what do you think about my solution ? too hard on the cluth, tranny, engine ?

I've always gone WOT, hit the buzzer at 6900, letup on gas, depress clutch, slam next gear, release clutch, back on gas. Does the STi have an algorithm to let up on gas automatically when the clutch is pressed in? I guess it wouldn't be that hard to program...

Drag racers shift without lifting. It's called power shifting. My dad blew up several transmissions learning to do this in the 60's in his supercharged 1960 vette. Not the best idea if you want your transmission and clutch to live past a couple trys.
