Default Blue STI in Alabama

I am crying because I know someone has gotten a STi here in AL. Before me.... I have had mine on order for 8 months!
I saw it on I59S between Springville and Argo. I was just wondering if whoever was driving it, was on the messesage board here. YOu lucky jerk

Well, whoever you are enjoy.

All I can say is that when I do get my STi, I will be on the road back to Alabama to pick it up. I am in DC now, but still have my Al plates, and lic. The tax savings alone is worth the trip back home, and shipping to DC.

Hey there! I didn't know. Good to hear from you. I more than likely won't get one till next Summer unless they offer me a hell of a deal or I get this promotion I'm in line for. Either way, I am gonna swap out the suspension on the Max this summer. Going with KYB struts.

I am looking at the G35 or the STi. Are you coming to the DC meet in July?

I am going through Serra Subaru. I wish I wasn't, because a month ago, everybody who was working there quit. None of the new guys knew who I was. Oh, Man what a headache. But I have talked to every one I can, and they assure me I will have one by June. I talk to Jim Burke yesterday, and they said they were expecting them anyday. Really, Jim burke and serra are about the same size. Kobe subaru in montgomery is the largest in the state I think.
Hey guys, Why don't we start an Alabama STi/ WRX club. There isn't one here that I know about. I have a great shop for doing upgrades. I live just outside birmingham.

My dad has a G35, Much more luxry than the STi will have. But not as much performance. It runs about 14.5's @ 97mph in the 1/4 mile. That is with the tapshift 5spd auto. Awesome car all together. You would be happy with either I am sure. And boy that car sure does get peoples' attention. The motor sounds really good too.

Heya T-WRX,

I'm in Hoover. You are the white rex with wingage correct? we think we saw your car rolling around 17th street during "City Stages".

Anyhow, looks like I am picking up an Sti in about a week out of Florida. I figure there will only be a few Sti's in B'Ham and outlying areas...

Scott,

the white WRX w/ the alum. wing is probably H. I think he goes by WHITE02WRX or something like that....

T-WRX Racer,

I'm sorry to hear about you going through Serra. I've heard MANY horror stories about that dealership in the past... Like this one (long read, but definately worth it!)

"Anyhow, looks like I am picking up an Sti in about a week out of Florida. I figure there will only be a few Sti's in B'Ham and outlying areas... [/b][/quote]"

where will you pick up your subaru in FL? i just spoke with someone in FL and am putting a deposit on a black sti that's suppost to come in on june 3rd.... i hope its not the same one

here is a question for people that ordered the sti in birmingham... did your sales reps actually take orders from you? mine didnt and they have absolutly no knowledge of doing it... basically what comes in comes in and you get what you get..... anyway i kinda got worried abo them not getting any (since they never have any info to give me on anything) and went somewhere else
