Vishnu tuning's Stage 1 package which has about 300 flywheel HP does 0-60 in 4.3 to 4.5 according to his site. Being able to adjust torque to the rear and a lighter curb weight may improve that figure.

One thing I hope Subaru doesn't do is make 2nd gear unusually tall so they can get the best 0-60 times for the magazines. I once drove a Toyota Celica 6 speed with an unnecessarily tall 2nd gear that redlined when you hit 60mph. I'm convinced the only reason the transmission was designed as such was to get the best possible 0-60 times in the auto magazines.

Of course the STi will have a lot more torque than the Celica so a tall gear wouldn't be as noticeable.

I would expect on the low side of that and maybe even lower. The STi seems to weigh less from the press release. Also, you would have an LSD instead of an open diff in the front, that will help acceleration. Also you can put more torque to the rear, that could help acceleration.
