Default 1995 Impreza Clutch and Axel Fitment?

Hi there,

I am rebuilding a 1995 Impreza and I am having difficulties sourcing the complete front axles and the clutch.

Not sure if this model year can interchange with any newer model?

Thanks,

Have you removed an axle from your transmission yet? The 93-01 impreza non turbo axles all fit yours if you have stubs on both end of your axle. Also the 02-07 impreza wagon axles will fit as well. If you don't have abs, you will gently tap the abs tone ring off the outer axle end if the new axle comes with one, before installing it.

Thank you very much!

The previous owner removed the front axle to make it RWD for drifting lol.

I searched and they still have parts for the 2007 impreza front axles.

How about the clutch?

The clutch I'm not sure on. They have two different spline counts on the clutch disc for the 93-01 and I'm not sure which year they changed to the higher number of splines. What I would do is go to the Exedy website and you can either use their part or maybe use their part number to cross with another brand. Exedy is a great clutch brand, frankly.

Which size/liter engine did yours come with originally?

1.8 liter awd clutch kit - https://shop.exedyusa.com/exedy-oem/.../i-125830.aspx

2.2 liter awd clutch kit - https://shop.exedyusa.com/exedy-oem/.../i-125830.aspx

On the exedy site it shows the 1.8 or 2.2 cars using the same Exedy 15010 clutch kit
