Default Ez36 changes over the years

Just a Quick one I cant seem to find an answer for, assuming because all EZ36 are interchangeable?????

are there any changes over the years from the EZ36.

specifically, is a 2008 Tribeca EZ36 replaceable with a later 2010 or newer version of the EZ36

Cheers

Your best bet is to go to parts.subaru.com and check compatibility that way. That shows the 2008 and 2009 are the same, and then 2010 and 2011 are the same, and then I stopped looking. So you'd need to dig deeper to find out what they changed and determine if that change makes a newer engine not compatible.

From what I can find the EZ36D was in all tribecas from 2008-2014. I would imagine small wiring harnesses ect were changed as the engine bay and body was updated. Depending on what your looking to do you could just rob parts off the 08 and swap them onto the 2010
