Default 2016 WRX Noise after dyno tune

Just had my car in for walnut blast, deletes, and tune yesterday. Made 297WHP, 312TQ on 93.

Right after I left the shop, I notice a creaking and popping sound coming from the front end during weight transfer. It is especially bad in 1st and 2nd gear and I can feel the popping in my pedals. It almost sounds like an axle, but will occasionally make the sound at low speeds going over a bump (no applied torque).

Any ideas where to look? I will be taking it to my mechanic ASAP, they are not open today.

You're going to have to go searching around for what's wrong. Sounds like a possible really damaged CV shaft joint. Hopefully that's all it is. They're not all that expensive or hard to change out.

Thanks Jack. Checking with my mechanic in the next day or two. I'll update with their findings.
