Unhappy Beware- BNM Performance Fab (Boost And More)

I am writing my own personal experience in hopes that others will at least take my experience in to considerations with their purchase if they are looking at using BNM for their parts.

9/14/20-
I made an inquiry about getting a rotated kit made for my 08 STi on their website. I immediately got a response back from an email address that showed Evan Carpenter. We began to talk specifics about my turbo and wastegate choices. I was told there was a 12 week waiting period, sounded OK with me. Everything was ironed out and an invoice from BNM was sent to me to pay $1480.

9/15/20-
Payment was sent to BNM as discussed. Evan confirmed it was received and informed me if any questions feel free to contact him.

9/16/20-
Contacted BNM to ask about 02 sensor bungs, he replied same day

11/2/20-
Contacted to ask about possibly adding the Medusa headers and doing a v-band flange now vs adding v-band after they are made. Since we were coming up on the 3 months that I was told it would take I asked about time frame. I got a response back same day and was told it was looking like by new year I should have them.

11/3/20-
Asking about deadline to put in order for the v-band headers if i choose to move forward with that purchase. He responded same day.

11/8/20-
Decided to run a larger wastegate that originally planned, notified of the change i needed to the uppipe. He responded same day with the change to the order.

11/29/20-
Emailed about possibly making a charge pipe to attach my rotated kit to my ETS front mount. Asked about options for heat control wrap/coat or nothing? No response.

12/5/20-
Emailed asking directly about status on my order. No response

1/7/20-
Emailed again directly asking about status of my order. No response

Now I have not received anything or any response and am really in a ****ty position. I have since researched more from people ordering BNM kits and I have read of people waiting for 6 months before getting theirs and others who have not after 6 months and are still waiting.

I am not saying that I got scammed but I would like to know a status on my order after sending a company $1500 bucks. I was hesitant on giving more money for the headers which is why I didn't place the order at the time I inquired about them.

I will keep this post updated with my progress of this order.

UPDATE:
I ended up researching more and more stories of people dealing with ridiculous delays so I ended up luckily being within the PayPal deadline for filing a dispute. I filed a dispute and within 10 minutes I got an email from BNM with a story of why my emails went un-responded and that my kit was in the making already. I was offered a chance to have my kit made and shipped within the week. As much as I wanted to have this kit I felt it was best to just get my refund and be on my way.

BNM issued a refund and my transaction with them is officially over.

Seems like the right choice. If he's that backed up with orders he should probably just not take any new orders untill he has caught up on his work load. Seems like common sense unless he's struggling with bills and such where he has to keep taking orders to support himself financially.
But then again as soon as you filed a claim with paypal he says he can magically have it shipped within the week?? If he really wanted to keep your business and others he would stick to his estimated 12 week waiting period and any time over that period he should contact the customer and let them know the status.
Also if you have a business you NEED to stay on top of your emails. You can't just say oh well I forgot to answer my emails today. That's an aweful business habit that I have seen way to often and imo I will never order from a company who won't take the time to talk to me no matter how many times I contact them. Good business is good buiness and bad business is never forgotten.
