With the fuel pump situation handled, the car has been retuned. One of the side affects of the retune, seems to be that the telemetry system can no longer properly log engine parameters from the ECU.

I think the reason behind this is because of Cobb's advancements in engine tuning on the FA20DIT Hiatchi ECU which have resulted in tables growing, and shifting around in the ROM, resulting in new memory locations. My previous tune was nearly 5 years old, so there has been a very large jump in the tune version. I believe I'm now on Cobb's CCF2 tune because the car has been tuned via SD, but I'm not sure if this is a v400 map or not.

In any case, I've been forced to go through the process of sniffing out the AP's parameter request calls to the ECU, and the ECU's replies to these calling, in an effort to bring the telemetry system up to date. I've learned a few uncovered a few tricks to make this process go by faster, which are outline in the video above.

Lastly, I dropped logging AVCS I/E and instead pulled in FBK, FBL, Ignition Comp IAT, TGV V R, and Wastegate duty.

Good to hear from you. I need to work on my Track Mk2 CAN bus stuff this weekend for an event at Daytona.

Had a question for you. Are you running standard rubber valve stems on your wheels? I've been getting slow leaks after events at Sebring the last couple times. I'm not hitting anything or going off track. The tire shop showed me this:

I think I'll switch to metal or stubby rubber stems and tell them to leave the TPMS sensor off. The extra weight on the core might increase flex. The WRX only stores one set of sensors anyway.

Sorta quiet there for a bit, and still am, but things are making progress in the background.

I use whatever the shop throws on the wheels when I get the tires mounted, although I do have some titan 7 metal stems on the shelf waiting for the next tire change.

I've never seen that happen before, or at least no one has brought it to my attention. That almost looks as if something on the surface of the rim was not machined cleanly and it damaging the seal. Have you looked at the rim itself? Or is it consistently happening on the same rim?

There is a pretty large area in front of the radiator on the bumper support beam that looks to be redirecting air upwards. Have you considered cutting that to allow more direct airflow and positive pressure in to the radiator?

I found out at the track this weekend that you can over heat the valve stems to the point that they pull out of the wheel causing a leak as well. I had never seen it before so full metal ones may be the way to go.

There are a lot of motorsports that require metal stems, not sure if that's the reason but I run a car that it is required on.
