My stock turbo broke, but I bought a slightly bigger one, (as you do) which caused much banging and codes, so I needed a retune....
The previous e-tune was by Stephen at iaTuning, and I've been very happy with it (see post #137 in this thread) Lots of power, and not even a check engine light or a misfire for the past EIGHT years! I recalled Stephen saying the injector 'safe duty cycle' was maxed out on my last tune, so being the power-mad stoplight racer that I am, I ordered ID 1050s to go with the oversized snail. Then I dumped all this in Stephen's in-basket, all for his discounted 're-tune' rate! (there's NO better deal in the e-tune world) He worked magic on my car, (even allowing for me forgetting the finer details of using an AP - I hadn't touched it in all those years!) Good Lord, it's fast now. My 2/3 shift at full power is frankly scary. We went through twelve map revisions until he was satisfied, and he was very professional and patient. ...and if I never have to connect those 'test connectors' again it will be too soon! |

Just completed an Etune with Stephen. Seriously a Rockstar! Had some hiccups from the engine sitting so long but it didn't matter. Stephen was patient, knowledgeable, and professional. I'd recommend iA over the local shop (Turn in).
