I vote chuck the BOV hose into the woods! The throttle body and BOV hoses are OEM size, so they are nothing more than bling. You can replace them if you want, but the do require some fussing to get them on. The reason you can't get the stocker off is the wonderful "pinch clamps" that are on there are facing in the wrong direction. The only hope to get them off is to use angled pliers and grab one of the pinch tabs. Then work it around by tugging on it until you expose both of them. Pinch, work it around more and pinch while pulling the hose off. And if you do get it off, buy some "normal" hose clamps.

a bfh, although certainly not without its uses, is probably not the most effective tool in this particular situation. . Mine's yellow.

You could just leave it off, it's just for looks. I forgot how I got the stock one off but it took a long time.

I agree with Unabomber, its easiest if you try and spin the clamp side of the hose toward you so that you have better access to the clamp. It took me forever and I was about to just forget about it, and then I was able to finally get it. It also helps that I am a relatively small dude, so it was easier to stick my skinny little arms in there.

I got really mad and just broke it. Although both were basically same size I felt like I should put it on if I bought it.
