Default Looking for a shop in N.Van.

Hey guys.

Friend of mine has a 2012 outback 2.5i which just had a head gasket go, apparently needs the heads replaced/machined.

JP Subaru in N.Van is quoting 7200$ and can’t do the job till mid January.

Anyone have any strong recommendations for other options?

If you don't mind going to Burnaby, I recommend the Speed Syndicate. They did the job on my 07 Impreza 2.5i for less than half of the quote you got from JP. The job included machining two heads, replacing both head gaskets, valve cover gaskets and all seals along the way, as well as timing belt & water pump.
