Ethanol fuel can and will make significantly more power than pump gas only by changing fuels and a tune (assuming your injectors, pump and everything else are up to the task).

This is from the increased knock resistance present in ethanol fuel and the cooling effect that vaporized alcohol has in the combustion chamber.

Default new 207 owner ;)

i just purchased my version 7 207 for my bugeye wrx! made 325 whp and 295 ft lbs tq on my jdm 205 before frying a ring and dropping a shim. now i’m using my same setup, td06 16g, ewg, 1050cc injectors, and all the other randoms. hoping to make 350 wheel or so reliably.
in my free time i literally do nothing but read forums. i’ve been constantly searching for the last 3 years about everything and am usually always given an answer. now i’m replying bc eventually i know id like to make an original post !

I have tuned an V7 EJ207 boosted up to 35psi GT30 and won a drag race. After 1 year of abuse, the engine died with a misshift. On my daily driven car I'm running EJ207 spec c long motor @ 320 hp pump gas @410 hp E67. I'm a big fan of EJ207

V7 EJ207, been dailying it with a TD05-20G at 22 psi on E85 for the past 2 years, 40k miles. Tuned it myself for speed density and it runs great.

TwistedMotion TD05-20G. It's an ebay turbo that TwistedMotion rebuilds and balances supposedly.

I bought a STI with a swapped EJ207 V10 (W20C) and its running the VF49 Twinscroll, 3" DP catted, and 2,75" Exhaust, GRB TMIC.
Im on 1.5 Bar (22Psi). Engine is stock.

360hp
370ft lbs

Sofar its running great since 40k km. Its a daily driver.

I was thinking to run a Blouch 1.5, but i heard from some tuners that 400hp at the crank is the limit for the rods and pistons (Block is fine), and i kinda dont wanna spend all that money on a dailydriver. A new turbo with like 50-60 hp more would be cool but i think i will just stick to how it is right now.

LOL 400 at the crank is very conservative for the MAX on a 207

They can make 400WHP all day long with a big turbo and some E85 - even on pretty conservative timing

My USDM EJ205 is about to be tuned to around ~400-450 crank HP and the USDM 205 is WAYYY weaker than the 207
