Default Anyone running PPG gears for 1-2 and RA gears 3-5?

I trashed first gear on my ra gearset.
I would like to run straight cut ppg gears for first and second and then keep my ra gears for third fourth and fifth.
Is anyone here running a combination of gears like that, and if so are the ratios good together?

Thanks!

You can figure that answer out for yourself via one of the 9000 online transmission calculators.

It can be made to work. The ratios are not a good combo though. 2nd and 3rd are VERY close. <- Just my opinion.

No idea. I have only launched on them about 10 times. I am really disapointed in the RA gears. I thought I would be good to go for a long time.
A tooth chipped right off of first gear on the main shaft. I have about 10,000 miles on them.
