Default Grinding rear noise

Hi, I need help with my 2012 Legacy 2.5i Premium. I bought it used and its been a real pain in my behind. From head gasket issues to CVT transmission valve body(and I'm almost sure I have to change the torque converter becuse its stalling, but thats another issue). Right now I have a problem with the rear end. It grinds while turning at low speeds. Not all the time, but it happens while turning left or right. I sometimes think its the rear diff. but I'm not really sure. Has anyone else has experienced this?

From what I've been reading I have found it could be the rear wheel bearings but I have to lift the car to see if thats it.

Many things have happen after buying this car that if its the differential that would be the final nail in the coffin for that car. I like how it looks and how spacious it is inside but I can't afford to continue fixing it like this(the head gasket was paid by the dealer but everything else have been out of my pocket). Normally I do most of my maintenance but with so many issues it has been difficult to keep up.

Any sign of fluid leakage from the diff housing? Check the fluid level, see if it's low?

Subaru's been using the R160 in most of their cars for a couple decades. They're pretty bulletproof, particularly in a stock N/A application.

No leakage. Just grinding from the rear. Mostly while turning. Its the second time the fluid has been changed in less than a 10k miles with mobil 1 75w90 GL5. The first time I drained the fluid it was really dark. My thoughts are the previous owner just neglected the maintenance schedule. My 2005 2.5RS never gave me any trouble, when it was wrecked it had 192,xxx miles( Not even headgaskets). My 2000 Outback sport did not gave me any trouble at all(besides the tranny leaking which led me to buy the Legacy and now the outback miraculously is not leaking and the one giving me headaches is the Legacy)and have almost 190k too. The Legacy is just 90k.
