Question Would 15" wheels fit on a 08 Impreza 2.5i?

I am looking to downsize from the original 16" steel wheels on my 08 Impreza 2.5i to 15" wheels.

I am concerned about whether or not 15" alloy wheels will fit as I don't know if the original brake components would pose an issue.

Anyone know whether its possible?

I read somewhere that a guy who has Subaru 4/2 pot brakes was able to fit 15" wheels on a 2014 WRX, if that's of any help.

Not sure about brake clearance.
But it is possible for some 15" wheels to hit the top corner of the OEM strut where it mounts to the knuckle. Some aftermarket struts will clear it, or you can trim the strut mount.

The older Sport Edition wheels from Tire Rack were 15" and I have a set on my 15 Impreza.
