Someone running 17inch wheels with a 1 inch drop. Looking to buy whiteline lowering springs but I don't know how 1 inch will look.

Looking at wheel/tire options for my '08 WRX Sedan. I'm thinking about going with a set of Enkei TS-10s or Rota Strikes in a 18x8.5 size wheel. Offset of 44/45 should work on a stock setup, right? Tire wise, I would go with 235/40R18.

Wheels: Work Emotion T7R 18x8.5 +44
Tires: 235/45/18 Continental Extreme Contact Sport
Feal 441 coilovers, rolled and slightly pulled fenders.
The front pokes less than 5mm and the rear is tucked about 10mm.
The rear might clear without a roll but the front definitely needs a roll.
With mine being rolled and pulled I might try 245's next time I need tires.
Sorry for the dirty pictures. I wanted to get some close ups but my car is filthy right now.

Hello wheel experts,

I have a GH hatch and I already have a set of summer 225/45/r17's on 17x8 et40 wheels. Stock suspension right now and there's no issues but I'm getting coilovers installed soon and was wondering how much I can drop before I to do fender modifications? I will be running 10k (550lb) springs front and back, and will have rear lower control arms to correct the camber.

I think I should be fine with a 1" drop all around but do you think I can do a 1.5" drop in the front without rubbing?

I'm looking at getting some 18x8.5 +45 offset wheels for my 2010 WRX on stock suspension currently What tire size would you recommend for a good ride height/gap ect. I've seen 225/40 come up alot but I've also heard they can look too stretched.

How aggressive would I need to roll my fenders?

Ok so I think I've kinda narrowed down my options for wheels. I think I'd like to go with a 17x8 or 17x8.5. I am on stock suspension currently but been shopping coil/spring options for a small drop (about an inch or a little more give or take) would like to avoid rolling/pulling fenders, what's my best options for offset wheel width tire size looking for a flush to near flush fitment. I've considered just going with a stock 11-14 wheel was wondering how close to flush they are.

Edit or should I go with an 18x8.5 setup if so what recommendations.

Looking at these from Tire Rack... 18" x 8.5", 5x100 +48 offset, TR says they'll fit up to 255 - anyone have thoughts?

Tire Rack says an 8.5" wheel can fit a max of 255 tires. That's probably a bit maxed out on width, but maybe not. I'm trying to find out myself, per my post below.
